Today’s doctors are some of the most important individuals in our modern world. With a global pandemic and urgency to save lives happening across the globe, now more than ever we need those professionals trained in medicine to assist with simple routine care as well as life-saving tactics.
On March 25-31 we are honoring physicians for the work they do in our world to save lives and protect humanity.
National Physician’s week is also a time to be reminded of all the contributions made by these professionals dating as far back as 25,000 B.C.
Advancements in medicine have taken us from a time when the first surgery was conducted to successfully launching a blood bank and even tremendous strides in artificial heart transplant surgeries happening. Healthcare continues to advance as modern medicine and clinical research push to new areas.
Since 2016, the Physicians Working Together (PWT) advocacy group has been using this week to commemorate physicians everywhere. The goal has been to provide these individuals with a way to connect with other professionals in their industry as well as patients online and foster greater partnerships and collaboration to improve care.
Here at MedXWaste, we are deeply appreciative of all the work our customer’s in this field are doing to help – especially in 2020 and 2021 to administer vaccines, treat those with common ailments, and putting others first to provide care for those suffering from COVID related conditions.
